Funding through the Arizona Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (AzTEDP)

In 1986, the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing was given the responsibility for making sure that people with disabilities have access to the public telephone systems. Since then, the AZTEDP has provided a large selection of telecommunication devices for deaf, hard of hearing, deaf blind, and speech impaired residents at no charge.

  • physician,
  • audiologist,

  • vocational rehabilitation

Cost

There is no charge for any of the devices loaned to you by the AZTEDP. They are yours to use as long as you need them. If you move out of Arizona, or do not use the device(s), you must return it to the AZTEDP.
