Join your colleagues for a free online conference with the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative's national online teaching and learning community. Interact with thought leaders, and engage with your peers to discuss innovative projects. This session is designed to be highly interactive and participatory, including guided group discussion and reflection on the issues. We will

  • Define what open educational content is and is not
  • Examine the technology trends that are making open content possible (for example, mobility, software, the cloud, lower technology costs)
  • Address models of authoring and participation in open content use (for example, delivery and organization issues)
  • Review models of assessing the impact of open resources on student success
