Why do I have a shell for my class in the learning management system?

NAU has adopted a policy of providing a shell for every class in the learning management system (LMS). Increasingly, students prefer to have online access to class information, and having a LMS shell for every class provides a way for each instructor to give students that access. Additionally, if you want e-Reserves readings for your class, you'll need to use your LMS shell. The Cline Library is making e-Reserves available only in the LMS.
