I am a new instructor at NAU, how do I get started with Vista?

Here is some information to get you started using Blackboard Vista:

Blackboard Vista Workshops and Tutorials
We offer a variety of workshops and have numerous online tutorials.  Vista Basics is the recommended first workshop, and is the prerequisite to several of our advanced Blackboard Vista workshops. Vista Basics is also eligible for a stipend of $125.  Vista Basics is offered online and allows you to start and finish as your schedule allows.

Training Schedule and Tutorials Web Sites
You can sign up for any of our workshops at the e-Learning Center training site at http://www.nau.edu/elearning/training.  If you are interested in online workshops, select the schedule and scroll down to see the online workshops listed at the bottom of the list.  We also offer a variety of instructions and tutorials at our web site.  If you go to http://www.nau.edu/vista-faculty you can see the list of tutorials.  There is a Quick-Start Guide for Instructors that offers a good introduction to using Blackboard Vista.  We continue to add new workshops, new dates and times, and more tutorials at these sites, so we recommend that you bookmark them and return regularly.

Faculty Help Line
As you begin to work in Blackboard Vista you can take advantage of our e-Learning Center Faculty Help Line at Toll-Free (866) 802-5256 or (928) 523-5554.  You can also email the help line at elc-help@nau.edu.

There are plenty of resources available; please let us know if you have any further questions about training.
