For people using Internet Explorer (IE) when accessing the Elluminate schedule in Bb Vista, it is possible that they might receive the “Reset using Proxy Server” error even though everything is fine with the web conferencing service.
To fix this error:
Clear Cookies
- In the browser window, open the “Tools” menu at the top of the window
- Select Internet Options.
- Choose the General tab
- Select “Delete Cookies”
- Select OK.
- Choose “Delete Files…” and include offline content.
Set Trusted site
- While you are in the Internet Options window, select the Security tab.
- While in the area asking you to select a “Web content zone…” make sure that the “Trusted Sites” zone is highlighted.
- Below the zone area, you should now see a heading labeled “Trusted Sites” and a button to the right titled “Sites…”. Select the “Sites…” button.
- Add *.elluminate.com to the Trusted Sites.
- Select OK.
- Select OK again to close the Internet Options window.
Close ALL open instances of the IE browser.
Open a new IE browser and try accessing the Elluminate schedule site again in Bb Vista.
