Elluminate is a hosted service and therefore does not use the NAU standard username and password system. You can join a meeting without an account, either by invitation or by visiting this address: http://elluminate.nau.edu. This makes Elluminate ideal for both NAU and non-NAU people.
To set up and/or moderate Elluminate meetings, you need to request an account. Accounts are created by NAU e-Learning. To request an account, send an email to elc-help@nau.edu.
If your NAU email address is, for example, John.Smith@nau.edu, your Elluminate username will be "John Smith" with a space between firstname and lastname. Username and password are case sensitive, so "john smith" is different from "John Smith." Your account is created using a default password, told to you during training. You should immediately change this default password by logging in, and going to the Profile tab. If you have forgotten your Elluminate username or password, contact NAU e-Learning for assistance at elc-help@nau.edu or (928) 523-5554 or toll free (866) 802-5256.
If you do not have a separate Elluminate account but are simply joining a meeting set up by somebody else, the meeting may or may not require a password. If it does require a password, the meeting's planner should have provided that to you.
