This image provides a schematic for connecting a usb speaker phone for a web conferencing session.  Please note that some usb speaker phones allow you to chain multiple devices or speaker phones.  This image shows a second phone chained with the first.

To connect a usb speaker phone with a computer connect the cord to the usb port on the computer. If you want greater contol of the volume in the room, connect the audio out port from the usb speaker phone to a set of speakers.
