What do the digits represent in my course number in Bb Learn?

NAU uses a 4-digit code to represent year and semester or session. The first digit represents the Institution, and is always a 1. The next two digits represent year. The fourth digit of the code represents semester or session, as follows...

Code Semester or Session
1 Spring
3 Pre/Summer 1
4 Summer 10/12 Week
5 Summer 2
7 Fall
8 Winter

For example, if the course code is 1141-1234, the course is from 2014, Spring semester.
