Our instructional designers and instructional technologists help instructors organize information, develop clear course goals and engaging activities, and implement techniques for encouraging students to interact with the course content, with instructors, and with other students. We also help instructors decide whether online teaching is right for them, and guide instructors in devising assessments to gauge the effectiveness of instruction and the extent of student learning. We also train instructors how to use assessment tools. See the Assessment page for more information.
