How Do I Import the Faculty Institutional Review Board (IRB) Resources Into My Bb Vista Course Shell?

These resources, which have been packaged into a .zip file that you can import into your Blackboard Vista course, make it easier for faculty to implement research projects in courses. The .zip file contains the following materials:

Overview
Describes Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines for conducting research with human participants
Sample IRB application
Shows examples of how to respond to questions in the application
Consent form for students who participate in research
The consent form consists of a Bb Vista quiz that lets researchers know which students have agreed to participate in the study

You can use the supplied consent quiz as your starting point and then modify it as needed to better fit your research project.

To use these resources, make sure that the Learning Modules and Assessments tools are active in your Bb Vista course shell. (Refer to Adding Course Tools for instructions).
