Description
A wiki is a collaborative website which can be directly edited by anyone with access to it. One of the best-known wikis is Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia whose content is contributed by its users. At NAU, a variety of wiki tools are in use, including Confluence, PB Wiki, WetPaint, and the collaborative online Office Suite, Google Docs and more recently Google Sites. Bb Learn has a wiki too, and we'll explore both how and why/when a wiki might be a good choice for a student activity.
