Similar to Microsoft Office, Google Docs (now known as Google Apps for Education) has a Word Processor, Spreadsheet and Presentation tool. The difference is that you access the tools via the web and that multiple people can simultaneously edit. Imagine working on the same document at the same time as your collaborators, and seeing their changes appear alongside yours in real time! Google Docs can be exported as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.
