ETC 647: Creating Technology Learning Environments

Credit Hours: 3
Format: Online
Semesters Offered: Spring
Prerequisites: ETC 547 and ETC 567

Highly technical course uses principles of designing environments for technology-based teaching and learning with hands-on field experiences for planning, purchasing, installing, maintaining, and assessing hardware, software, and network configurations. It is highly recommended that students obtain an old computer that they can pull apart and reconstruct. An important part of this course is the field component. Students enrolled in this course are required to have access to some form of IT department where they can see and practice first hand how networks work.
