ETC 666: Designing Instruction

Credit Hours: 3
Format: Online
Semesters Offered: Fall and Spring
Prerequisites: ETC 567

This course focuses on researching a variety of instructional design models and strategies, and the application of these principles to educational learning environments. This course places special emphasis on the design of web-based instruction. The design of this course was based on selected Technology Leadership Standards from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

In addition, this course is intended as a lead into ETC 695 and you will be preparing the first draft of your capstone proposal and Unit Plan. The Educational Technology faculty encourage you to carefully select a content topic that you would like to use and will have the opportunity to implement in your professional practice or a professional setting for your capstone project. Through ETC 666, you will develop your preliminary proposal and Unit Plan that will then be ready to submit for approval and fully develop in ETC 695 as your capstone project.
