ETC 667: Instructional Design and Multimedia Authoring

Prerequisites: ETC 547 and ETC 567
Suggested Prerequisite: ETC 666
This course should be taken after taking ETC 666. The course is designed to build upon instructional design knowledge acquired in ETC 666 and it aims to develop skills as they relate to instructional multimedia design and multimedia instructional development. This course emphasizes learning theories in terms of multimedia design, development and implementation. Students in this course will have opportunities to practice applying their knowledge through the development of multimedia instructional materials and tools that are applied in a constructionist learning environment.
NOTE: Starting fall 2007, this course will not longer count towards the program of studies for students who are admitted into the Ed Tech program for fall 2007 and afterwards (new program of studies) . There is no change in the program of studies for students who were admitted all the way up to the summer 2007.
