Educational Technology Programs

Prerequisite Knowledge

Starting in the fall 2011 semester, all prospective students applying to either or both the certificate and the master's program will need to demonstrate their proficiency in the NETS-T (NETS for Teachers).

Master's of Education in Educational Technology

The goals of these programs are to help you develop expertise and skill in using and applying software and integrating educational technologies within any learning environment: from Pre-kindergarten to college and from in-person classes to distant learning ones; including hybrid models.

Certificate in Educational Technology

If you are a PreK-12 teacher or a technology coordinator who wants to enhance your technology skills, you may be interested in NAU’s 15 credit-hour certificate plan in educational technology.

Remember that you can always start by enrolling in the Certificate program; if you decide to continue with your master's degree, all of the courses that you have taken are counted towards the Ed Tech master's degree.
