Luke Evans (PHD Biology and Science Foundation Arizona Fellow) received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grant. His DDIG examines how climate drives patterns of genetic variation in plants and the impact this has on arthropod community composition.

Kabelo Sebolai (MA TESL and Fulbright grantee) was awarded the Albert H. Marckwardt Travel Grant to attend the TESOL convention in Boston, MA, March 2010.
