Outstanding Alums!

We wondered what NAU graduate alumni were up to. So we asked the faculty to let us know who was doing splendid work that was making a difference for people, for disciplines, or for communities or country.

Here's what they told us.

Business: Kedren Dillard

Kedren Dillard

Kedren Dillard (MBA 2000) enjoyed many years in Phoenix, Arizona following completion of NAU’s MBA program, working as a senior pharmaceutical sales representative for Eli Lilly, consulting for Vanguard Marketing International, and serving as a vice president of eCommerce marketing for Bank of America.

In 2009, Dillard relocated to Orange County, California to join Experian North America as the director of sales and operations, part of a new team to help market and sell Experian’s data products to the public sector. Selling to federal and state government agencies required rigorous business development efforts and strong selling tactics. In the first year Dillard was able to close over $30 million in net-new public sector sales for Experian to agencies such as the Social Security Administration and the departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development.

Since then, Dillard has worked on Experian’s Global Marketing Team helping launch data solutions in Australia and in the Asia Pacific Regions. She also fulfilled a “strategic alliance” role in managing the credit card, healthcare, and reseller relationships on behalf of Experian. Today she leads all business development efforts for Experian’s new direct-to-consumer solutions, managing the sales, segmentation, marketing, and operations aspects of this new business.

"I think of my time at NAU with fond memories,” Dillard says. “The MBA program provided me with the flexibility to explore multiple business areas while simultaneously providing guidance to build the strong foundation necessary for postgraduate success. The MBA faculty members made the program—literally. To this day, I’m thankful to the program and to the experienced faculty members for their guidance, direction, accessibility, and belief in me."
