Member Profile

2004 - Ph.D., Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
The University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK
Dissertation: Changes in temperature and precipitation on the rainfall use efficiency and soil water dynamics in temperate prairie ecosystems.

1999-2003 - B.S., Biology, 2003
Emporia State University, Emporia, KS
Independent Project: The germination rates and seed bank size of cleistogamous and chasmogamous seeds of the invasive weed Lespedeza cuneata.

My current research focus is looking at how ecosystem water cycle is altered by climate change. I use modeling, data analysis and field experiments to understand this connection of climate change to ecosystem water cycle.
