Make Sure Your Student Has A Plan!

by Zachary Casavant, Campus Dining

Fall 2012 will be here before you know it, and it is time to start thinking about the meal plan and the many benefits it offers. Campus Dining offers a variety of different meal plans for residents and commuter students. Charges are posted to the student's Louie account, so financial aid and scholarships can be used to pay for the meal plan.

If your student lives off-campus and commutes to class, meal plans are still extremely convenient because Campus Dining has nearly 30 locations spread across campus. It is easy for a student to grab a snack before class, or lunch between classes, or even a hearty breakfast in the morning before a busy day. Block meal plans are popular among those students who choose to live off-campus. A block meal plan allows a meal swipe any time (at more than 20 locations on campus) and they don't expire until the end of the academic year - so there is no need to worry about using them all up by the end of the week!

Meal plans make it easy to make healthy eating choices, with nutritious and tasty options available at multiple locations all with the ease of a simple card swipe. There is no need to drive to a restaurant since higher-quality and faster food is available right on campus. Ask the increasing number of students and parents who are choosing the meal plan again, year after year: the combination of flexibility, quality, convenience, and variety offered by the meal plan is unbeatable.
