Convocations and Commencement

Congratulations to the spring 2013 graduates! The hard work has paid off and the bittersweet end of a college career has come for nearly 4,000 graduates.

The university is also proud to announce the many convocations to celebrate the diverse heritages and identities of our students.

Join us in celebrating during the 2013 Convocation Days.

Commencement ceremonies will take place on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 in the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome. Scheduling, parking, and directions to the events can be found online.

The speakers at Friday's cereomy will be Ernest Calderón, President Emeritus of the Arizona Board of Regents, and Kerry Blume, President and CEO of United Way of Northern Arizona. Saturday's speakers will be Paul Keim, Regents' Professor of Biological Sciences, and Nancie Lindblom, the 2013 Arizona Teacher of the Year. Read more about these honorary degree recipients on Jack Central, the university's student newspaper.

Celebrate your student's achievements and help us wish all of our graduates a happy and successful future!

Tuition Payment Plan

Do you have a student enrolling in fall 2013 classes? Do you want to spread out the expenses?

Have your student sign up for the tuition payment plan. The payment plan offers the opportunity to spread out tuition and fee expenses with an interest-free, predictable, monthly payment option. If your student has enrolled in classes for the fall semester, encourage him or her sign up for the tuition payment plan early, before August 15, to ensure the lower service fee rate of $85.

Students who enroll in classes after August 15 must pay for classes or submit the tuition payment plan enrollment form the same day to avoid the $125 automatic payment plan service fee. For further details about your student’s due dates, he/she should review the Student Center in LOUIE and look under Finances > My Account > Account Inquiry > Charges Due.

Visit Student and Departmental Account Services for more information and to sign up.
