Research Interests

Using radiocarbon as a tool, I am interested in investigating arctic biogeochemical carbon cycling and the implications this cycling has on climate change. I have a particular interest in the potential climatic feedback resulting from permafrost thaw. Further, I hope to apply my skills and knowledge more broadly to effectively communicate scientific findings in this area to the general public and to policy makers in order to affect change.
