SPSS User Agreement

The purchaser of the SPSS Product agrees to the following conditions in regard to the use of the SPSS package:

1. Each individual SPSS package purchased will be installed on only one machine. SPSS is not to be installed on a network without prior approval of ITS.

2. The SPSS package will not be given or sold to any other individual or department.

3. If the software is to be moved to a machine at a different location, the User will inform the Computer Center of the new address. In the event of a move, the SPSS package must be removed from the original machine before the package is installed on the new machine.

4. In the event that the purchaser leaves the University, all copies of the software must be erased from any machines that are leaving and all diskettes must be left at the University or erased.

5. The user understands that there will be a yearly license fee for this product. Each year a password must be entered into the system before the software may be used. The password will not be released until the license has been paid.
