Modes of Training

We offer in-person hands-on workshops for faculty and staff in our training room (and other Mountain Campus and statewide locations by request), online real-time (synchronous) training via Collaborate for our distance population, online self-paced (asynchronous) guided training via Bb Learn, and a wide range of online Tutorials and answers to Frequently Asked Questions. We provide tech support by e-mail and phone, and by one-on-one consultation.

If you enroll in an in-person workshop and are on the "waitlist" we can't guarantee you a seat. Our training room is small and it's hard to squeeze in extra people even if you bring your own laptop. If you want to "go standby" as the airlines say, and hope that someone who has a seat doesn't show up, we're happy to accomodate you. If someone drops the workshop, and you're next in line, you'll get an automatic e-mail indicating that a seat has opened up for you.

If the workshop you wish to attend is not currently offered, or is offered at an inconvenient time or location, we can add a section to meet your needs. Suggest a topic and we can develop a custom training for your department. We're happy to train you in our facilities, in yours, or online. Send us your special training requests.
