Vendor Policies for University Facility Use
Violation of the following rules and/or regulations may result in immediate termination of reservations and / or permits and eviction and /or prosecution of Vendor / User:

All Users / Vendors must comply with federal, state, or local law, rule or regulation of the Arizona Board of Regents, Northern Arizona University, or any specific limitation imposed herein by the office of Unions and Student Activities.

Nothing may be taped, glued, nailed, or affixed to the walls, doors, or windows.

Posters and flyers may be posted on approved bulletin board and kiosk locations.

Rituals, including initiation ceremonies, are not allowed in the University Union.

Parking permits are available at Parking Services, building 91. Call 928.523.3591 to arrange for a permit at least 48 hours in advance.

Alcohol consumption is not allowed in public areas on the NAU campus.

In order to prevent interfering with other users, noise levels must be kept to a minimum. If sound levels become disruptive the responsible party may be asked to vacate immediately and will be subject to a review regarding future use.

Chewing tobacco, illegal drugs, firearms and illegal gaming devices are prohibited in the University Union.

Assistive animals are welcome on the premises, but all other animals are prohibited.

Users may not burn any substances at any time in the University Union. This includes, but is not limited to, candles, incense, etc.

The University Union is a non-smoking facility.

In the event that the University Union or any portion thereof is unavailable for occupancy during the term of the meeting, conference, or other event due to fire, casualty, acts of God, strikes, national emergency or other cause beyond control of the University Union, the rental agreement and obligations of the group utilizing the University Union will be terminated. The group utilizing the University Union waives any claim against the University Union for damages.

The University Union reserves the right to change, cancel, or relocate meetings and / or events when necessary.
