Liz Brauer spent four months of her sabbatical in fall 2010 at the Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative
at the University of British Columbia (cwsei.ubc.ca), a multi-year project aimed at improving
undergraduate science education. This transformative experience has dramatically impacted her approach to teaching,
as will be discussed in this seminar.
