BS in Health Sciences:
DMIT Degree

This online degree completion program allows current or prior students in one of the Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Therapy (DMIT) programs listed below to earn a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree from NAU while remaining in their home communities.

Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Therapy

  • Nuclear Medicine 
  • Radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • Radiation Therapy

Basic requirements for this degree

  • Liberal studies (35 units)
  • Health Sciences Core Requirements (24 hours)
  • DMIT Discipline-specific Coursework (60 hours)
  • Electives as needed for 120 hours total

Program Admission Requirements

Must be a current student or graduate from a regionally accredited community college in one of the following areas:

  • Nuclear Medicine 
  • Radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • Radiation Therapy
