»Butterfly abundance and distribution in ponderosa pine forests:
predicting responses to forest restoration--a two year study of butterfly
ecology. Presented in poster format at the 1999 Society for Conservation
Biology meetings, won the "Best Student Poster" award.
»Land use history of the Colorado Plateau--as a writer for this incredible
web site, I have thoroughly enjoyed myself and expanded my knowledge base
considerably (Go ahead, just ask me about the Jurassic wonders of the
Shinarump conglomerate or the world of paleoinformation to be found in
preserved proboscidean boluses).
»Ecological toxicology--I am starting my Ph.D. in the fall of 2000 at
the University of Maryland, studying population and community level effects
of environmental contaminants.
