This database is a work in-progress and designed to document evidence collected to support three self-study processes.
Northern Arizona University's 10-year comprehensive review by the North Central Association of College and Schools (NCA).	Northern Arizona University's second cycle review for Division I athletic programs by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).	Northern Arizona University’s review by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Currently this database is used to support the NCATE review of the College of Education at Northern Arizona University. Six standards guide the accreditation process. These standards were initially adopted by the Unit Accreditation Board on April 19, 2007. The latest revision of the NCATE Unit Standards was ratified by the Executive Board on October 20, 2007. Professional Standards for the Accreditation of Teacher Preparation Institutions contains an updated list of program standards and updated language in the chapter on ‘Accreditation Decisions’ to reflect policy board actions through fall 2007.
