Detailed Description of Student Activities

3. Faculty Presentations on Research Topics and Techniques.

Each TTH from 1:30-3:30, interns will attend faculty mentor lectures during which each mentor and the PI will present their diverse research programs and lecture on statistical and research procedures. Students and faculty then will discuss the broader implications and applications of these research projects and analytical approaches. Presentations by each mentor will allow students to better appreciate what their peers are researching, will permit additional interactions with the mentor pool, will permit a discussion of new research ideas in an informal setting, and will expand their exposure to diverse research questions and protocols.
