The Community Collaborative Microclimate Temperature Network (CoCoTemp) is a citizen science project that empowers ordinary homeowners and students to collect extremely affordable and scientifically robust temperature data in their houses, yards, and schools.
For roughly $25 and an hour every month, you can participate in an academic community that is learning about how trees, gardening, housing, and microclimates affect your temperature and comfort in your daily life and contribute research-grade data to help climate and health scientists study these important issues.
Ask the project team for more information if you are interested, or visit the website (soon-to-come!) to sign up.
