I have current and pending funding for research projects in Alaska and elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial support:<\/strong> All students who are accepted to the graduate program are funded as either Teaching or Research Assistants. Almost all of the MS theses have led to publications in scientific journals. My students have gone on to professional careers in:\u00a0geoscience consultants,\u00a0government- and university-based scientists,\u00a0university professors,\u00a0college instructors, and small business owners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Facilities:\u00a0<\/strong>Students are trained in both field and laboratory procedures. The laboratory combines techniques in <a href=\"https:\/\/sed-records-lab.nau.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sediment<\/a> analyses and \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/ses\/amino-acid-geochronology-laboratory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">geochronology<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/aceisotopelab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radiocarbon<\/a>.
