Coconino Sandstone

Cliffs of Coconino Sandstone along the Bright Angel Trail on Grand Canyon's South Rim. At the very bottom is visible the red top of the Hermit Shale. Immediately above the sandstone is the Toroweap formation and above that is the Kaibab limestone.
