Various religions and cultures have calculated a specific year, day, or time for creation:

- 77.76 trillion years ago: Puranic Hinduism calculating repeating cycles of creation of the universe.
- 15 billion years ago: Light traveling at 186,000 miles per second takes about 15 billion years to reach Earth from distant objects.
- 5508 B.C.: Year of Creation that will be adopted in 7th century A.D. Constantinople and used in the Eastern Orthodox Church and secularly in Russia until early in the 18th century A.D.
- 5490 B.C.: Year of Creation as it will be reckoned by early Syrian Christians.
- 4004 B.C.: October 23 at 9 am: Date of Creation as it will be reckoned by Irish theologian James Ussher in 1650 A.D. and John Lightfoot a decade earlier.
- 3760 B.C.: Year of Creation as it will be reckoned in the Hebrew calendar that will be used from the 15th century A.D.
- 3641 B.C.: February 10: date of Creation as it will be reckoned by Mayan calendars in the Western Hemisphere.
