Effort Expended in the Web Class

Time Worked Relative to Lecture Class The students were asked to compare the time they spent in the web class relative to the time they usually spent in a traditional lecture class. Students in both classes answered in approximately the same percentages.

Students in general felt that the web class took more time than a traditional lecture class.

It seemed as if the students in the course for majors felt they spent more time in the web class than the students in the general education (liberal studies) class.
