I am a professor of Spanish at Northern Arizona University. My primary interests are in teaching and research. I teach courses in second language acquisition, phonetics and phonology, as well as morphosyntax. At the undergraduate level, I teach introduction to linguistics and applied linguistics, as well as advanced grammar.
My research involves a number of areas, including second language acquisition as it relates to CALL, morphosyntax (e.g., mood selection, subjunctive, lexis), corpus linguistics, and study abroad.
