I am broadly interested in how plant communities respond to a changing environment.  As a field technician in the Schuur Lab I am specifically interested in how the tundra plant community will respond to an increased active layer due to thawing permafrost.   Additionally, I am interested in CO2 release during the winter months, as a larger unfrozen layer in the soil is created.
